PTBA GUIDELINES FOR 13-14U TRAVEL AND PONY LEAGUE WORLD SERIES TEAMS

• 13 - 14U travel teams will follow the same general guidelines that the rest of our travel program follows, which consists of winter training, tryouts and selections in March with practices, travel leagues and tournaments beginning in April and concluding at the end of July all while maintaining a 60% participation minimum in PTBA spring recreation baseball.

• Specific to the Pony League World Series team, PTBA will be represented by the current incumbent team at the 14U age level assuming that each player has adhered to our travel guidelines and that they meet the PONY organization age guidelines and mandatory 50% rec participation requirement.

• The PTBA Board of Directors reserves the right to but is not bound to hold a tryout for the Pony League World Series team if no current 14U travel team is in place for any specific year.

• The PTBA Board of Directors also reserves the right to but is not bound to hold a supplemental tryout if the current incumbent team needs to supplement its roster due to PONY age restrictions that may disqualify players or any other issue that may create the need to round out the roster.
